Junior Business Development Executive

(Dutch language skills required)

We have an exciting opportunity within the CTS Netherlands Sales Team. As the successful candidate, your primary focus will be to build strong relationships with Google in the Netherlands and to increase the local market penetration of Google Cloud products. 

You’ll possess a natural ability to build strong relationships, and will be energetic and proactive in identifying new prospects. You’ll have a desire to drive activity within target customers and a strong motivation to be successful within a growing business.

Reporting into the Marketing Lead for the Netherlands, you will be responsible for the qualification of new leads as well as following up on potential prospects and identifying new opportunities. 

You will network and build strong relationships with a wide range of Google stakeholders in the Netherlands to position CTS for new business opportunities. You will be working in a small, but high performing sales team, with the opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills quickly through ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Network and build strong relationships within the Google Cloud Sales Team
  • Identify target customers and contacts aligned to our Go To Market strategy
  • Book high quality customer meetings for new customers with our Sales Team 
  • Follow up on inbound marketing activity and leads
  • Update our CRM (Salesforce) on a daily basis ensuring it’s up to date and relevant
  • Work with the Enterprise Sales Team to align pitches and messaging for approaching customers

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience working within a sales or business development role (2+ years ideally)
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills 
  • Ability to create engaging content on social media channels (LinkedIn)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch)
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to engaging with our partner and customer contacts

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
  • New Business Sales Trained
  • Industry Knowledge

Location:

You’d work either from our office in Central Utrecht or from your own home, with regular travel to the Google office and to customer sites.
