11:FS is on a mission to change the fabric of financial services. Our Consulting & Research practice builds challenger propositions globally, like we did for Natwest with Mettle. Our Pulse team creates a benchmarking tool used by the likes of Monzo, Starling, Natwest and Tesco Bank. Our Foundry team are delivering a Financial Services Operating System to help businesses quickly add financial services to their offering. On top of all of that, we’re a media company, generating content that supports our brand and changes the conversation - not necessarily in that order.

Comms Designer

We are looking for a talented all-round mid-weight designer to join our team and work on marketing projects and brand properties and marketing channels and across our media properties, such as podcasts, videos and blogs. You will bring creative ideas and amazing design skills to the team and help elevate our brand and communications through beautiful as well as functional design.

Who are the 11:FS Media Team?

The media department manages all the video, audio, and events content that 11:FS publishes with shows including Fintech Insider, Blockchain Insider, Insurtech Insider, Decoding, After Dark, and much more. The content that we produce reaches a wide-ranging global audience of engaged listeners weekly, and through our written content we are promoting the 11:FS name and thought leadership around the world.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a few years start-up, agency, studio or in-house experience where you have at least 3 years of brand or visual design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • An ideas person who is bursting with creativity and constantly thinking about how we can 10x a concept
  • An all-round designer, who can take on projects from brief to completion
  • You have a varied design portfolio across digital, social, composition, illustrations and even some motion
  • Experience using Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • It's a plus if you have Motion Graphics skills (After Effects)
  • A thoughtful communicator who works well with teams and is comfortable sharing and articulating their design decisions
  • You're comfortable balancing multiple projects at a time
  • You're motivated to improve how we design at 11:FS, from levelling up our visuals to improving our process and culture.

What will you be doing here?

  • Creating compelling designs across our media properties, eg. our podcasts, video series and events
  • You’ll help to maintain and continuously evolve 11:FS and our media products’ brands, visual identity and how it’s applied across all channels
  • Creating bespoke illustrations in our house isometric style
  • You’ll work closely with leaders in Media, Marketing, Research, and Consulting to prioritise, plan, and execute on projects
  • You’ll share your work and iterate on feedback from other designers and stakeholders across the company
  • You’ll work closely with other designers and participate in and lead design critiques
  • You’ll be an advocate for great design across the company
  • You’ll work with other designers to develop your skills over time
  • Developing your own voice as a designer. With opportunities to contribute articles, appear on youtube shows or podcasts as you progress in your career, boosting your profile in the industry and helping to promote design at 11:FS
