LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Experience, you will lead the experience strategy, innovation, design and digital storytelling for FARFETCH Marketing programmes. Working within the Marketing Experience team you will create customer-centric solutions, informed by insights, from ideation to execution. Leading and collaborating with diverse multi-disciplinary teams to create on-brand and considered Marketing experiences. You will lead and inspire Designers and be an advocate for user centred design principles. You are a subject matter expert within Marketing Experience and across the business. Always advocating for the user and the end-to-end luxury experience. You will bring a passion for storytelling, a head for user experience and a love of design in everything you do.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Guide the experience strategy, concept and UX design across multiple projects.
  • Inspire a team of designers, sharing expertise and shaping and evolving the team
  • Lead projects from ideation to execution
  • Use user insights and data to better inform your designs
  • Create concepts, high-level designs interactive prototypes and express your ideas through customer narratives and digital storytelling
  • Facilitate focus groups, workshops and ideation sessions.
  • Partner with other departments to deliver projects and programmes across FARFETCH
  • Present and defend your work in regular creative reviews and programme presentations.
  • Lead and challenge the team to create an outstanding experience for our FARFETCH customers

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are proficient in Design and UX or the equivalent industry experience
  • Experienced working in a digital design agency or similar
  • Advocate for User Centred Design principles
  • Versed in design thinking and processes
  • You can provide experience design guidance and mentorship
  • Expert knowledge of relevant design tools like Figma
  • Enthusiasm for fashion and technology with cultural and industry awareness
  • Focused on data-driven insights
