Today, we’re known as the team behind the award-winning VR App FitXR, one of the top-selling games on the Oculus and Steam stores. We have big plans for the future, and our growing team of developers, marketers and fitness gurus are working to create some truly iconic games to show that staying fit and having fun are not mutually exclusive.

As Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for translating the company vision and strategy to the product vision, strategy and roadmap. You will be leading all Product functions including Product Management, Design, Engineering and Agile in ensuring that all product development and product live operations align with key KPIs and business needs. You will oversee research and development projects company wide, analysing feasibility and growth in line with our short and long term plans. Reporting to the CEO, you will have the freedom to break things, challenge assumptions and help shape the future of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and management of the entire product portfolio
  • Alignment of the product vision, strategy and roadmap, in order to establish FitXR as the #1 VR fitness application
  • Oversee product research and development
  • Set and monitor product OKRs, and track other KPIs to help inform Product Strategy
  • Bring insight and expertise as to how user needs have changed over time to ensure these are met by the product
  • Manage and lead our Product, Design, Engineering and Agile teams

What you’ll experience

  • Along with the Key Product Stakeholders, take part in determining product strategy
  • Conduct regular reviews of the current state of the product with Key Product Stakeholders and enable the Product Teams to action the feedback
  • Work with Growth and Content teams to ensure that our Key Product Lifecycle Metrics are performing well
  • Create and share a Product Roadmap with consumers and stakeholders
  • Work with Marketing and Community to create appropriate product messaging for consumers

Requirements

  • Experience in leading a service based subscription product development and operations, including relevant years in a leadership role required
  • Strong consumer focused product experience, ideally at a high-growth startup
  • Strong communicator, can see where communication gaps exists and you can fix them immediately
  • Team management experience across engineering, product and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Have strong experience of scrum framework and agile methodologies
  • Experience working on an app store product that offers subscription or in-app purchases is highly desirable
  • VR or Native mobile app experience would be advantageous

  • Efficient management and completion of product OKRs and KPIs including our North Star Metric, Retention and Churn
  • Ability to prioritise the right thing at the right time
  • Team growth and attrition rate
