We build our platform with:
- Kubernetes running in Google Cloud Platform.
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Application deployments with Helm.
- Tooling and platform services written in Go.
- CI/CD with Concourse, Github Actions and Bazel.
- High-performance data & messaging on Postgres and Kafka
- Observability using Prometheus, Grafana and Jaeger.
About You
We are looking for skilled Platform Engineers to join our team and help build a reliable, distributed platform that can deliver high performance at scale.
Building high performance, scalable, available, fault tolerant systems is a team game and so we want to know that you play well with others. Lone geniuses are brilliant - just not for us.
As a Platform Engineer your role will include:
- Writing distributed Kubernetes applications.
- Managing the infrastructure as code.
- Developing a secure and resilient platform.
- Mentoring more junior team members.
- Improving the reliability of deployments, delivery and the Foundry platform.
- Cross-functional working with backend and frontend engineers.
- Proactively monitoring and supporting production systems.

- It would be a bonus f you have experience with:Java/Scala applications (deploying or monitoring the JVM)Go, Jsonnet, Kafka and/or Postgres
