Whereabouts: Within CET +/- 9 hours, however we are currently building a dedicated sales team located in London.

Your mission at Whereby*

To scale, develop and manage a team of Account Executives at Whereby, with an overall mission to support clients who need to integrate video into their product. You and your team will be focused on managing inbound leads, generate your own opportunities, and close new business on Whereby Embedded and help us reach our revenue goals in the years to come.

We're looking for a skilled and well-trained sales lead, who are a solid sales professional and a great mentor and leader. You have a high degree of flexibility and work well under pressure. You enjoy thinking out-of-the-box and are a curious learner. You also have a huge interest in sales and want to build a career within sales.

Strategic responsibilities

  • Build and scale a best-in class AE team
  • Further develop Whereby's closing efforts
  • Develop smooth team processes, from lead flow from SDR's to feedback flow from clients and how we work with our product teams
  • Collaborate with the rest of the sales teams on strategic sales approaches and ensure the company’s goals and targets are met

Tactical responsibilities

  • Build and further develop our AE playbook
  • Manage a team of AE's
  • Hire and onboard more team members

Foundational responsibilites

  • Coach AE's by contributing in calls, and provide valuable feedback
  • Act as a hiring manager for AE recruitment processes, assisted by our team of recruiters
  • Work closely with Account Executives to maximize the potential revenue from their book of accounts
  • Contribute to team effort and play an integral part in creating smooth team processes. (lead flow from SDR's, and also feedback flow to product)
