🌎 WHAT WE’RE UP TO AT MATCHABLE
We're a London-based Tech for Good startup disrupting the old school way of employee volunteering. We’ve just raised our pre-seed round so you’ll be joining at a really exciting stage of our growth!
Our approach reimagines volunteering. We pair employees with unique volunteering opportunities at exciting non-profits and startups by helping them find their perfect cause and the best use of their skills - some might call it a perfect ‘match’!
We’ve experienced fantastic traction since launch in 2019 and are currently onboarding some of the UK’s biggest and most innovative companies, with the aim of delivering over £420m of value via 600,000 hours to organisations changing the world over the next 5 years.
⚒️ THE JOB AND YOUR MISSION
The end goal of this role is to get as many companies as possible to sign up to Matchable and make their (and our!) biggest impact!
You’ll be responsible for the top of the funnel, reaching out to companies with the goal of getting a meeting. This role is all about outreach and will be pivotal for us as the first point of contact that any potential client will encounter. We won’t lie: there will be a lot of ‘no’s’ and people not responding, but also lots of wins that we can celebrate together!
We’re growing quickly and we want you to grow with us. If you nail the role, you’ll get more responsibility; things like attending meetings, doing demos, hosting launch events etc. Right now though, this is all about getting meetings booked with potential customers.
Your success (and commission!) will be based on results. In particular, meetings booked that have converted to an opportunity.
🔍 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
You can’t get a degree in sales (!) so if you haven’t been to university, we don’t mind at all. Some experience in sales would be nice but not critical. This is an entry level role so as long as you’re hungry, resilient and want to build a career in sales, we’d love to hear from you!
While Matchable has already seen 781% growth so far in Q1 2021, we need more sales people to help us reach our goals. You will become part of a tight knit team of highly passionate people. It’s definitely a startup and it's definitely scrappy, so we’re looking for someone who can deal with the highs and lows! We’re also not perfect, so always keen to test new ideas that will help us grow faster.
