Job Description

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager to focus on optimising and enhancing our acquisition strategy for our top customer tier at FARFETCH, the Private Client tier. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead the Private Client acquisition strategy and develop plans to help us acquire high-value potential FARFETCH customers for the Private Client tier through partnerships. The manager in this role will work with the Private Client Sales and Marketing function, and other supporting PC functions to establish what success looks like, working with our global Retention & Loyalty teams to provide expertise and recommendations based on the contextualised view of business, customer, trade, operational and financial data. You will turn insights into recommended actions, manage senior team members and projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You'll establish a holistic and unique acquisition plan to grow the Private Client base through partnerships to support the strategic growth of the PC customer segment and business
  • Identify, prospect, and head negotiations with potential partners, being the partner-facing lead for Private Client projects
  • Develop partnership guide for FPC to be rolled out in each partnership globally
  • Create Partnerships strategies with Regional markets and support on development
  • Partner with local Sales & Marketing teams to grow the development of Private Client partnership programmes in-country
  • Provide acquisition tests with external partners
  • Monitor and draw insights from performance; develop partnership guide for Private Client
  • Build the Private Client Referral programme, designing and running trade driving Friends & Family campaigns
  • Partner with the Analytics and Product functions to test and refine partnership acquisition tactics
  • Support multiple growth implementation projects to shape and structure the projects, manage the process and teams, run the analysis and engage team members, track project status and product reports for communication
  • You'll work with external partners, managing acquisition, onboarding and ongoing partner relationships
  • You'll partner with the Loyalty teams (Marketing & PC) and Marketing Partnership teams to draw up engaging and elevated acquisition plans, utilising our pool of benefits
  • You will work with the Analytics team to capture results and insights
  • You'll work with the Marketing and Product teams on communications strategies and user experiences
  • You will meet with team members to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
  • You'll affect and influence senior team members to encourage discussion and decisions, to support the global Private Client strategy

WHO YOU ARE

  • You'll have and experience managing external partners, with the ability to work towards metrics and manage budgets
  • You'll have an ability to understand and interpret analytics and financials into recommendations; you'll have worked within a group with P&L responsibility
  • You'll have an ability to create operational plans and see through to execution
  • You'll have experience leading multi-functional projects within budget
  • You'll be a luxury industry expert with a deep knowledge of the wants and needs of the luxury customer
  • You'll have an ability to turn a challenge into a solution, maximising opportunity
