At Paddle, we are looking for a smart, ambitious, self-starting individual who has experience taking a product to market.

You will be a key part of a cross-functional tiger-team looking to accelerate growth in this market, working closely with our Invoicing Product Manager, Chief Strategy Officer, Product Marketing Managers and fellow Account Executives to accelerate our growth in this new segment of customers.  

Your role is essential in building out a repeatable sales engine in this global market. Ultimately, bringing us closer to our vision of making Paddle the default solution for all SaaS businesses.

Paddle alleviates this pain with its industrialised Revenue Delivery Platform that makes it easy for SaaS companies to respond faster and more precisely to every growth opportunity across acquisition, renewals and expansion.

Our all-in-one platform is purpose-built for modern SaaS execution and already powers growth for over 2000 software companies, globally. Our Revenue Delivery Platform integrates checkout, payment, and subscription management, making it easy for businesses to activate new business models, enter new markets, turn on new offerings, and renew subscriptions without friction and we handle compliance globally, so our Sellers always operate with full integrity.

Paddle’s Revenue Delivery Platform has traditionally been used by companies who sell their products through our web-checkout. Many have since expanded their payment capabilities to include Invoicing via wire transfers as well as web-checkout. In 2021 we’re looking to accelerate our growth in a new segment of users who exclusively invoice their customers. 

Today we have millions of dollars flowing through our Invoicing tool. It’s our intention for this tool to become a key-driver of growth and revenue for Paddle for years to come. With an immediately addressable market size of $40b. 

You will be a key part of a cross-functional tiger-team looking to accelerate growth in this market, working closely with our Invoicing Product Manager, Chief Strategy Officer, Product Marketing Managers and fellow Account Executives to accelerate our growth in this new segment of customers.  

Your role is essential in building out a repeatable sales engine in this global market. Ultimately, bringing us closer to our vision of making Paddle the default solution for all SaaS businesses.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with our Invoicing Product Manager to identify key product requirements for a number of strategic customers (including Fortune 50 clients) who we will build out the Invoicing product alongside. 
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for our Invoicing solution. Building pipeline and ultimately closing a set of target accounts. 
  • Master the Invoicing product, know its features inside and out and be able to articulate its value to C-level executives at some of the fastest growing software companies in the world. 
  • Identify flaws in both Paddle's and our competitors' product during the sales process, helping to inform our sales techniques and product roadmap.
  • Learn and refine new sales skills with regular Account Executive training sessions, as well as direct support from our founder and Chief Strategy Officer in taking the invoicing product to market. 
  • Work towards absolute repeatability in the sales process, allowing for Invoicing to become a core revenue driver in 2022 and beyond. 

We'd love to hear from you if

  • You have been a part of a commercial team that has previously launched a software/SaaS product or business before. 
  • You have experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding your quota.
  • You have experience selling highly technical products/services into SaaS businesses.
  • You are great at liaising with prospective clients in person, over the phone and email. 
  • You have an entrepreneurial attitude which thrives when solving complex challenges and you want to be part of an exceptionally fast-growing company.
  • You understanding how to work with and provide feedback to technical colleagues.

It'd be great if

  • You have experience selling to technical persons, (CTO, Head of Product, (Technical) Founders).
  • You are familiar with invoicing solutions like Zuora, Chargebee, Xero, Quickbooks. 
  • You are able to operate in an unstructured, self-starting environment.
