About the Role:
We are looking for a talented mid-weight visual designer to join our team and work on marketing projects across our brand properties and marketing channels. You will bring creative ideas and amazing design skills to the team and help elevate our brand and communications through beautiful as well as functional design.
What you’ll be doing:
From day one you’ll be involved in multiple aspects of asset production and management, and you’ll own the output on some of our channels. You will work on design across social media, reports, presentations, infographics, our main website (www.11fs.com), email and landing pages.
On the average day you will be:
Delivering creative visual assets that brings our brand as well as our product & service campaigns to life
Working with the Art Director on a daily basis to align on creative concepts and deliverables
Concepting and developing static and dynamic assets for social media campaigns and incorporating new trends
Owning website UI design, working closely with and taking steer from the website team and Design Tribe
Creating illustrations in our in-house style for blogs and social assets
Creating impactful, mobile-first designs for our email properties, and helping to develop and innovate our email templates to keep up with future trends
Designing stand-out long-form reports and presentations for breakthrough marketing campaigns
Managing the quality and execution of assets, typography, logos, icons, and interfaces for multiple platforms
Gathering design references and create moodboards to communicate ideas to the team
Helping to evolve the 11:FS brand identity and use it as a guide to create beautiful and impactful assets, support brand consistency across all marketing-related design materials
As a part of the marketing team and Design Tribe, you will:
Constantly challenge yourself and the team on how we work, helping to adopt new practices and tools
Work across multiple project deadlines
Give and seek feedback to continually raise the bar for quality
What would make you an excellent fit for us:
3+ years experience as a visual / brand designer
A portfolio which shows you have a strong sense of design layout, attention to detail and you’re well versed in beautiful typography. You can show a foundation in visual and brand design with an awareness of current trends
Experience designing iconography and illustrations
Experience in creating visual designs for websites and social platforms
Strong understanding of the different social media platforms to create engaging content
Highly competent with Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Adobe After Effects to bring these designs into motion is a plus
Presentation design using Google slides
The ability to understand and follow a design system, as well as challenge and contribute to it when needed
Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
Experience working with Figma an advantage but not essential
HTML/CSS is a plus but not essential
