After an influx of inbound requests from businesses in the last few months, we’re looking for someone to take the lead in our new business development efforts and scale our revenue. That person will be predominantly client-facing and with experience in the consultative sales approach.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is experienced, highly confident, motivated, organised, and empathetic. They would welcome the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through cultivating relationships and acting as a consultative facilitator of new business.

A great talker and an even better listener, the ideal candidate relishes talking to new prospective clients and building a deep understanding of their challenges and problems. The candidate we’re looking for has done this countless times for previous businesses and knows exactly how to navigate a sales process.

You will lead in building key new customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, creating sales strategies and assisting in closing new business while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for new business
  • Take prospective clients from first contact, all the way to closing the sale
  • Manage relationships with open opportunities including conducting demos, pitching and following up
  • Become the voice of the client internally, pioneering customer-centric product developments and improvements
  • Be revenue accountable and tie all activities to revenue impact

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • At least 5 years experience in a consultative sales environment
  • Experience owning the entire sales funnel in a previous role
  • Experience closing new business Preferably HR, media, advertising or events sales experience
  • Expertise in Hubspot Sales CRM
  • The personality for phone-based sales
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to be a self-starter
  • The confidence to take control of sales outcomes
