Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. In this newly created role, you will manage the Performance team and be accountable for translating the Performance team strategy into tactical plans and making recommendations based on expertise. You will be responsible for the implementation and the evolution of a best in class Performance strategy.

 

The Performance team will champion automation, innovation and creative thinking to implement and evolve a first-rate technology stack and best-in-class acquisition campaigns to support scale across the full spectrum of influencer tiers and across all areas of Influencer Marketing – Identification, Activation, Content Creation, Distribution, Measurement and Retention.  

 

Working with multiple stakeholders across the business (Marketing, Product, Analytics ad Data Science) you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a centre of excellence and that the channel is set for global scale and remains ahead of the curve. 

What you'll do

  • Provide direct support to the Senior Influencer Marketing Manager and define activity-specific goals and actions from the strategy for the Performance team and make recommendations based on expertise
  • Analyse and report on KPIs with a regional focus to measure success and identify potential growth and efficiency improvements, escalate and determine solutions for at-risk areas
  • Identify, implement and leverage technology to scale all areas of Influencer marketing including – Identification, Activation, Content Creation, Distribution, Measurement and Retention
  • Retain competitive advantage by ensuring Influencer Marketing strategy recommendations are innovative and Farfetch is positioned as a market leader
  • Lead the Performance team to execute and implement the operational plan and ensure the team are motivated and inspired to deliver against the defined strategy ensuring a centre of excellence
  • Communicate with other departments and teams globally to exchange critical information, activities and processes. Identify opportunities and escalate risks to ensure business needs are considered and supported in the overarching influencer strategy
  • Contribute to budget definition and act responsibly managing and controlling associated costs and resources for the Performance team
  • Collaborate with the Senior Influencer Manager to define the key performance indicators for the Performance team and champion continued measurement
  • Act as a role model for the team and initiate, encourage and facilitate positive change
  • Coach and develop junior members of the team, set OKRs, ensure goals are reached and flag any risks
  • Be a Farfetch expert on Influencer Marketing 

Who you are

  • You have experience in a Digital Marketing role and have a passion for eCommerce and leveraging technology to solve problems
  • You have demonstrated strong data and analytical skills and have an ability to interpret results, anticipate challenges and form solutions with keen attention to detail
  • You have experience of leveraging and integrating technology and automation to maximise opportunity
  • You have supported projects focused on automation & innovation of a channel
  • You are a strategic thinker and are able to make recommendations on how to strengthen process and methodology
  • You are a structured communicator, able to package results and direction into actionable messages
  • You are solutions orientated and have experience of problem solving
  • You have people management experience and have acted as a team leader for junior members
  • You are a strong team player, ready to collaborate and build relationships in order to influence key stakeholders
  • You are driven, dynamic, forward thinking, innovative and agile and comfortable working in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
  • You have a high level of knowledge and experience of digital marketing tools (Google Analytics), the social media industry, Instagram and other social platforms
  • You a have first-hand experience in managing Influencer outreach campaign strategies
  • You have experience of driving influencer relationships and long-term engagement
