We are looking for a candidate to join a growing digital marketing team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for the deployment and production of HTML email templates and implementing weekly BAU email campaigns for our portfolio of luxury fashion brands while continually optimizing the performance and functionality of these campaigns. You will work within the CRM team, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders in the development and execution of these campaigns.

Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. We are looking for a candidate to join a growing digital marketing team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for the deployment and production of HTML email templates and implementing weekly BAU email campaigns for our portfolio of luxury fashion brands while continually optimizing the performance and functionality of these campaigns. You will work within the CRM team, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders in the development and execution of these campaigns.

This role will have a particular focus on integrating dynamic content and advanced personalisation into our campaigns. The role will require strong technical skills, ideally with SQL and advanced excel knowledge in order to support and facilitate the development of an email automation tool. You should also have an innovative mindset with strong coding skills to implement new interactive email design components into our email templates. You will report into the Design Manager while working closely with the CRM and wider digital marketing team.

what you'll do:

  • Build business as usual email campaigns using html templates and our ESP
  • Collaborate with the CRM team and ESP expert to optimise our campaign production process and explore and propose new solutions
  • Implement dynamic email campaigns and modularized email templates to scale out our current CRM services through the interaction with a variety of data sources
  • Develop a new suite of licycle and trigger-based emails, such as back in stock and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Create interactive email elements to be deployed into email campaigns
  • Support with any email redesign or new client onboarding projects
  • Develop mobile optimized html email templates to be used for our growing portfolio of luxury fashion clients.
  • Continually improve the quality email templates and be constantly on the look-out to innovate and challenge the status quo.
  • Test and conduct QA of all emails using an email testing tool to ensure emails are fully functional in all major desktop and mobile email clients.
  • Support with any design work from CRM or other digital marketing streams in producing banners and other visual collateral

Who you are:

  • Excellent grasp of email specific HTML code and CSS and necessary tools. 
  • Good working knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and advanced excel skills
  • Ideally have experience working with an ESP (ideally Responsys) 
  • Basic understanding of image editing tools such as Photoshop for simple image editing tasks
  • Preferable but not essential to have a computer science related degree or previous working experience.
  • Have a good eye for UX to provide the best possible user journey for the subscriber
  • Have your finger on the pulse with all the latest trends and be ahead of the curve in all the new technologies and capabilities available in email marketing.
  • Be a team player who can work in a collaborative environment, whilst also managing your own work autonomously. 
  • Be eager to learn more and immerse yourself in every facet of CRM and digital marketing.
  • Be able to work in a client-facing role, which is fast-paced and at times a high pressured environment especially during promotional periods.
  • Have a keen attention to detail and able to identify and troubleshoot any issues before an email campaign goes live
  • Able to meet deadlines and execute email campaigns and other tasks in a timely manner
