Farfetch are looking for a Sales Operations Manager.

This role will be responsible for all operational processes, systems and training, related to the Europe, Middle East and Russian Private Client teams. The role will work collaboratively with the Global Private Client Sales Operations team, ensuring that the strategy is driven and delivered day to day by local teams.

The ideal profile is someone with previous management experience in a fashion operational environment. An analytical continuous-improvement mindset, focused on efficiency and innovation through collaboration, is key.

Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. We have large open plan spaces and a feature staircase connecting our 3 floors, encouraging our collaborative and open culture. We also have a big outdoor terrace where we can have lunch and host social events when the sun comes out!

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage local Private Client Operations Executives in region (EU / RU / ME), partnering with the local Private Client leaders at all levels from Manager to Sales Director; to ensure all of their expectations are met and key results are delivered. ,
  • Drive the Private Client Global Sales Operations vision and strategy through the local teams.
  • Work with the Global Sales Operations team to roll out innovative tools, processes and ways of working, to create a high performing and efficient local Private Client team.
  • Ensure that all Stylist teams are fully trained on all selling tools, systems and initiatives; including our CRM system, Salesforce.
  • Partnering with the Senior Sales Enablement Executive, support the delivery of the Private Client Training calendar; which supports ongoing development, up-skilling and growth of the local Private Client teams.
  • Ensure transparency of information amongst the team, be the key point of contact for delivering communication and act a source of knowledge.
  • Communicate with Senior Private Client leaders and key stakeholders in the market to identify the local needs and ensure their operational requests are met.
  • Work with the Global Sales Operations teams to identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies, with the aim of enhancing sales productivity.
  • Act as a Salesforce ambassador and be a guardian of the tool, ensuring buy in at all levels. Be responsible for the local Stylist Affiliate strategy and manage through team.
  • Work on projects that will support the sales growth of local Private Client team. Responsible for budget management, ensuring that controls are in place and adhered to, and minimize over-spending.
  • You’ll work closely with the Premium Services team to ensure the needs of the local Private Client team are met.
  • Who you are

  • You’ll ideally have proven experience of Personal Shopping, a focus on luxury is desirable.
  • You’ll have experience of managing and leading a team; able to coach, motivate and inspire.
  • Proven fashion operations experience, with a track record of delivering objectives.
  • Work ethics; a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
  • You’ll be solutions-focused when faced with a problem, with a logical approach to situations.
  • You’ll be proactive and driven; always seeking to improve and evolve.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills; able to explain concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are key, you’ll have an ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the business.
  • You’ll have a strategic mind-set; with an ability to translate into an operational plan and execute through your team.
  • You’ll ideally have previous experience training others on concepts and principles related to operations.
  • You’ll be able to meet deadlines and work comfortably with ambiguity. Strong identification with Farfetch core values.
