11:FS is on a mission to change the fabric of financial services. Our Ventures practice builds challenger propositions globally, like we did for Natwest with Mettle. Our Pulse team creates a benchmarking tool used by the likes of Monzo, Starling, Natwest and Tesco Bank. Our Foundry team are delivering a Financial Services Operating System to help businesses quickly add financial services to their offering. On top of all of that, we’re a media company, our Growth team generate a stream of content that supports our brand and changes the conversation - not necessarily in that order.

Pulse is our next-generation competitor analysis platform. Used by many of the world’s leading banks and fintechs, Pulse is currently a searchable video library of thousands of user journeys and insights. It is used by product managers, researchers, and UX people who are designing many of the best financial products in the world.

As a Senior Fintech Analyst, you will utilise your strong UX, product design, and/or fintech knowledge to produce high-quality analysis of digital financial products while also producing in-depth articles related to fintech news and UX trends. You will help develop an ambitious content strategy for the 11:FS Pulse platform and wider the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Pulse Content Team consisting of UX research analysts and video editors and assist them with their goals and objectives.
  • Monitor assignments and output levels of the team and work to support and provide additional training and mentorship where needed.
  • Own the 11:FS Pulse content strategy and work with the Product Director and others in the Pulse and wider 11:FS teams to refine and socialise it.
  • Closely work with sales and account management to ensure content production aligns with our commercial strategy
  • Utilise your experience in UX to conduct expert analysis of financial apps and websites from all over the world; apply your knowledge to forming views on the financial services and fintech industries as a whole as well.
  • Contribute towards our weekly newsletter, writing about trending financial services/fintech topics (e.g. banking, blockchain/crypto, investing, insurance etc)
  • Benchmarking financial products UX and features with the Research team
  • Helping clients identify useful user journeys and good UX Practices

Experience and qualifications

  • Extensive commercial experience in the field of UX, product design, or user research (or similar)
  • Opinionated and knowledgeable about UX/UI Design and/or digital products within the fintech/financial services space.
  • Has a working knowledge of fintech/financial services and is very eager to learn more about the industry and the products within it
  • A collaborative and engaged team player with an interest in mentoring and helping others to learn and grow
  • Has some experience managing others and has a strong desire to be a manager and grow as a leader
