11:FS is on a mission to change the fabric of financial services. Our Ventures practice builds challenger propositions globally, like we did for Natwest with Mettle. Our Pulse team creates a benchmarking tool used by the likes of Monzo, Starling, Natwest and Tesco Bank. Our Foundry team are delivering a Financial Services Operating System to help businesses quickly add financial services to their offering. On top of all of that, we’re a media company, our Growth team generate a stream of content that supports our brand and changes the conversation - not necessarily in that order.

At 11:FS, Product is taken from inception, all the way to growing and scaling the product. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our growing team to develop world class digital financial propositions and get them to market.

In this role you will help grow the 11:FS Ventures business by delivering exceptional products for clients, winning new business and growing client relationships. You will also support the Product Director in shaping our Product Management capability, developing and mentoring team members and building the profile of product management at 11:FS.

You’ll bring a strong blend of human centred design, technical acumen, and business sense to take products from idea to reality, getting the best from our diverse and highly skilled teams to shape the design and delivery of financial products and services that make a difference.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will contribute to projects either as the project/engagement lead on major programs, or by providing oversight, insights and best practices to teams on smaller engagements.
  • You will partner with peers in research and strategy, design, technology and delivery to ensure we consistently deliver high quality work to our clients.
  • You will structure and sell new client engagements (including writing proposals, and presenting to prospective and existing clients) ensuring the continued growth of the Ventures team
  • You will work to ensure that our projects continue beyond their initial scopes and identified additional opportunities within client organisations
  • You will nurture and coach a team of product managers, as well as supporting with future recruitment
  • Actively support the Ventures team in creating an inclusive and collaborative culture

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience working in a creative environment with designers, and an interest in human-centered design
  • Experience working with multiple teams of 5-10 designers, engineers, and product people across one large engagement or a portfolio of engagements
  • Experience, and confidence in a broad spectrum of product management techniques and methods.
  • Strong presentation, communication and storytelling skills

What you'll need:

  • A portfolio of projects that you can talk us through, the end result, the process you took, trade offs you had to make, etc.
  • A deep desire to collaborate on developing new ideas, launch amazing products, and deliver exceptional experiences
  • Experience working in the Financial services/Fintech industry.
  • A willingness to travel for key client meetings
  • Positive attitude and outlook
