Impact Box's mission is to transform how the social sector uses technology. We want to bring about a sector that is more impactful, efficient and data-informed. We do this by partnering with charities and social enterprises to provide outstanding software solutions that address the day-to-day challenges they face. Using our knowledge and experience of the sector, we are able to design solutions that help organisations increase their impact and deliver on their mission.
We are experts in creating powerful software for mission-driven organisations. The majority of our work involves the Salesforce platform and we are a registered Salesforce partner. Because Salesforce can easily be customised it is increasingly being used by charities and other social purpose organisations to monitor impact, manage programme delivery and streamline processes. We use it because it allows us to quickly develop systems that are efficient, sustainable and scalable. Ultimately we know that the technology is only one piece of the puzzle. What sets us apart is our in-depth understanding of the sector, our willingness to get stuck into the details of what you do and our commitment to ensuring our work has real impact.
Flexible working approach
At Impact Box, we recognise that everyone's situation is unique and are committed to eliminating as many barriers as possible to working for us. We fully support flexible working and prioritise a culture of trust in our team. We are a fully remote team, who meet regularly for team days in London. Whilst we mainly work from home, we also provide options to work from co-working spaces where preferred by team members. We trust employees to set their own start and finish times, with core hours between 10:00 and 16:00. We are always happy to discuss other flexible working arrangements to find a way of working that suits everyone.
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Employee benchmarking score
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
A number of us are not based in the same city and I work part-time. It was easy to approach the idea of working part-time and working remotely. The organisation as a whole is adaptable and flexible with hard-working and empathetic people.
